Speaker: Stephen A. Garcia
My video topic: “What scientists say about blending art with science and the teachers that have influenced them.” During the presentation different video techniques will be briefly explained and we will also explore setup and some post video editing using different online applications.
Bio: Stephen A. Garcia is an adjunct faculty member at Texas State University for the College of Health Profession in the Clinical Laboratory Science Department (CLS). As a graduate of Texas State University Stephen has four years experience teaching in the Molecular Biology field and nine years experience in the CLS field as a certified medical technologist. Stephen believes in teaching through zone of approximation, giving the students experiences that stimulate exploration thereby advancing their learning. Stephen’s philosophy involves metacognition in the sense of knowing where your knowledge currently exists and accepting that you can learn more.
