A new kind of social communication has recently emerged on to the market. Discord and Slack are two platforms for this instant communication and collaboration. Explore and see the strength that lies in chat rooms, plugins, collaboration support, and bots! We'll be looking at active servers to see the variety of ways that these platforms are used.
Bio: Liam Heiland is a graduate student at Texas State University pursuing a Master In Educational Technology. His passion is mostly found in biology and teaching others about the natural world. He enjoys using technology to that end, conversing with many online groups about the sciences and his experience in the field.
